They say that when someone cares about you, you can tell by the pictures s/he takes of you.. I think I find that true. It doesn't even have to be when someone cares about you deeply, but can be just when s/he regards you well. The opposite, too.

算了。斷了。要去換了。not just the chain. but what?
We've been talking in Soc recently how people like to name buildings after themselves or other people when they donate money to an organization. I guess it's so they can point out to others something tangible that they've contributed to, to seem like they're having more of a long-lasting impact. I dunno, I think the idea of wanting to leave a legacy.. is manifested in odd forms, when it comes to humans. It's not like we can really leave anything on this earth, but.. I think when you boil it down to its empirical components, the idea of wanting to leave a legacy is much composed of wanting to know that one is validated, valued.
God and time and eternity. God -- outside of time, within eternity?
"3 He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
...
And by His stripes we are healed.
...
7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth."
